What People Are Saying
“I started volunteering with FRVC in 2021 after seeing how damaged and dirty the East fork of the San Gabriel River was. I was overwhelmed by it all until I met the other volunteers. We were all so different, but still willing to show up and try to have a positive impact. It felt good. So I kept coming back. ”
— FRVC VoluNTEER
FRVC volunteers are trained community members who give their time to protect, monitor, and educate in the forests and waterways we all share. Through patrols, cleanups, restoration projects, and visitor education, every volunteer helps build a culture of respect, responsibility, and care for public lands.
